The evening concludes with the traditional lighting of the Holiday Tree in front of Pico Rivera City Hall. Admission to the Holiday Festival is free, but there is a nominal fee for the food.
Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony — Pico Rivera City Hall is transformed into a snow covered Winter Wonderland for the City’s annual Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Pico Rivera will mark the start of the Holiday season at the City’s annual Holiday and Tree Lighting Festival. The event is held on the grounds of Pico Rivera City Hall. Be sure to bring your snow boots and mittens as the event site will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland complete with snow play and sledding area. Other activities planned for the event include North Pole train rides, arts and crafts, food, live music and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus. Santa will be available to pose for pictures and collect letters from children. Entertainment includes chorale groups, arts and crafts, and more. The evening’s festivities will also include the lighting of the Civic Center Holiday Tree.
Passons Boulevard between Haney and Wampler Streets may be closed to accommodate the stage and viewing area.
